I have been struggling with Internet Marketing for years and never got anywhere. Kevin’s analogy of the circus scam is priceless. It is much like the medicine show docs of old. As a child, my grandfather once took me to a medicine show and these modern Internet hucksters use some of the exact terms and pitches. I guess what I am saying is that nothing has changed. Regardless of where the seminar is held – online or in person – their key is to keep you hooked by promising you’ll get the info you’re after when you buy the next seminar/package. At best, you lose a couple hundred, at worst, several thousand. I had it happen to me, with the TR seminars, so I guess I ought to know. Finally went and found the real info I’d been re-upping for each time – at 1/4 his price. Tactic is a variation of “nested loops”.

I know exactly the kind of seminars you’re talking about. I’ve attended both real estate seminars and wealth-building seminars, and this was the exact same situation. I felt trapped and thought I couldn’t make money without getting the right forms through the latest guru system. I didn’t have the kind of money those people were asking for. Then it happened to us online.
